Koike Imatecs is a trading company oriented to development, specializing in the field of building interior materials. Our activities cover almost all fields related to daily life, including housing, furniture and home electronics. We fully meet market needs on the basis of our long experience and original know-how. We can always meet the expectations of our customers, and of society as a whole. In the past, nearly all printing paper for decorative panels used in Japan was imported from abroad. Koike was the first Japanese company that set out to produce such paper. As no guidance was available to us, we tried to obtain necessary know-how from foreign companies, and developed the required technologies through cooperation with our partners. As a result of our assiduous efforts, we succeeded in developing, in 1959, the first domestically produced printing paper for decorative panels. Due to the shortage of wood, printing paper for decorative panels instantly found widespread use. Koike's traditional assets are international mindedness and foresight. We always are creative, and oriented to R＆D.
